By the early nineties I had a couple of my apartment buildings. Then the real estate recession hit hard. LIke may other people I got burned. By early 2000s I recovered and enjoyed the rally all the way to 2005. Then, the great recession happened. That was an opportunity that I was waiting for. So I invested heavily in foreclosures and short sales. Of course, by 2012 the Sacramento market started to recover and rallied until today.
